- Mark and level position with the template - leveling - piercing tool included with smart shelf.
- Using a rubber mallet or hammer, lightly tap the tool to make a thin "slit" through the wall board only approximately 1" long.
- Lift the shelf into position so that Uni-hooks enter into "slit. Push in shelf to wall and tilt down unit.
- If you need to remove the unit down the road, just tilt the shelf up and slide out of wall. Easily eliminate the narrow 1/16" slit with spackle.
- A durable, load-bearing installation is completed - 18" shelf tested reliable to a 50 lb. load

Designed with the same Uni-hook features found on the Frigo Design... Smart Shelf, these ultra-chic Stainless Steel supports allows the customer to provide their own shelf surface such as: wood, acrylic or glass afford them the ease of installation that only the Smart Shelf Uni-hook design provides.
- The Uni-hook carries the weight of the shelf surface from within / behind the wall, thus eliminating any visible angled corbels / buttresses.
- The Smart Shelf Supports will support the weight of wood or glass up to lengths of 24" and are designed to hold shelf surfaces of 10" deep.
- Each set (two supports per set) also includes a specially designed piercing tool that makes it easy to penetrate sheet rock creating the small "slit" into which the Smart Shelf Supports get secured.
- As with the Smart Shelf, no drilling, no molly inserts, no screws are required to install these unique shelf supports.
- The Smart Shelf Supports are equipped with laser cut holes for securing wood shelving. Also included in each set are lengths of a two sided super adhesive tape for securing glass shelf surface to the supports.
- Available in elegant Stainless Steel and a wide pallet of contemporary colors and "faux" metallic finishes that will further enhance the overall aesthetics and afford a much wider room decor match. Choose from finishes such as: Rubbed Bronze, Antique Copper, Pewter, Vibrant Blue, Gloss Black, Copper Vein and more.
